Where we are up to
On 29 June 2022, a presentation was provided to the Aboriginal Portfolio Reference Group (APRG) meeting on the Victoria Police Electronic Referral (VPeR) Process. The presentation detailed anomalies identified regarding referrals for people who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
As an outcome of the presentation, nominations were sought to form a working group to explore and evaluate options and determine a preferred option moving forward. Since the APRG meeting, nominations have been received and a working group is to be formed from the nominations received. The first working group meeting is pending.
