Where we are up to

The Children’s Court of Victoria (External link) has unveiled a new portrait of Aboriginal elder, Uncle Kevin Coombs in honour of his contribution to the Koori courts. Uncle Kevin Coombs has played an important role since the establishment of the Koori Courts in 2003. By the time he retired in 2019, Uncle Kevin Coombs had served as an Elder with the Koori Courts for 17 years. His portrait will hang outside the Elders’ Room at the Melbourne Children’s Court, as a lasting reminder of his notable contribution to Victoria’s justice system.

Previous updates
