Where we are up to
The Koori Women's and Adult Pre-Charge Diversion Program is being considered as part of the Aboriginal Youth Cautioning Program (AYCP) expansion, however this will not occur until the AYCP is properly embedded and fully functioning.
After Aboriginal Justice Caucus endorsement of the Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training (ACAT) package content in May 2022, ACAT has been made mandatory for all sworn Victoria Police employees (Police and Protective Service Officers).
